Mel's got the Touch!
My parents bought me an ipod! Yayness, music heaven here I come!
That managed to surprise me, which in itself is surprising because I told them what I wanted. I thought that I'd be going with my dad to buy an ipod tomorrow. I came home from work knowing that something was up because my brother almost let the whole secret slip. I tried to tickle the rest of the story out of him but he held up under torture. I did have my own sneaking suspicions that they'd already bought one for me though, but when we got home nobody said anything so I just assumed my brother was an idiot.
It was about 9:30 when my dad knocked on my door. I think he couldn't take the suspense any longer and just yelled 'THE IPOD IS UNDER YOUR PILLOW!" I think they realised I don't go to bed till about 12.00-1.00 in the morning. Geez...as if I'd check under my pillow! What are you...the tooth fairy?
Then there was a second surprise. It went along the lines of "Hey we bought you your present. Can you pay us back $300?" I was like...WHAT...wasn't the original agreement $200? Oh well. Trust my parents to screw me over LOL. I'm so happy though :) they even bought the right one! I didn't think they were listening when I told them which one I wanted!
